Wes Mizell is a Senior Associate at MetaProp, where he supports the firm’s venture development efforts across research, thought leadership, capital formation, portfolio management, and industry partnerships. Wes began his MetaProp journey in 2022 as an Analyst, where he focused on providing innovation advisory, corporate venture, and development services for MetaProp’s strategic partners across the commercial real estate, construction, and services industries.

Wes holds a BBA in Finance and Investment Management from The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. As a student, he immersed himself in the startup community as a founder — pitching at SXSW and Capital Factory, and winning IncubatorEDU’s National Summit.

Outside of work, Wes enjoys surfing, running in Central Park, playing poker, and rooting for his Longhorns.
